GlockSlideBackPlate.com is a father and son shop in El Paso, Texas. We've been making custom Glock slide backplates since 2022 through our company, APEX Firearms LLC.

What we make

We make Glock slide backplates, the plate on the back of the slide that Glock calls the slide cover plate. Ours are real replacement parts that swap in for the factory plate. You can pick one of our designs or upload your own artwork. We make them in four sizes: standard for Gen 1 to Gen 5, standard for Gen 6 and Glock V, compact for the Glock 43, 43X and 48 (including MOS), and a Glock 42 size. Our fit guide lists every model.

We also make custom Glock magazine base plates.

How we make them

Every plate is CNC machined in house and laser engraved here in El Paso. Slide backplates come in aluminum or brass. Magazine base plates come in aluminum, with brass coming soon. CNC engraving is coming soon too.

How ordering works

Choose a design or upload yours on the product page, pick your size and finish, and check out. Before we make anything, we send you a mockup to approve. Laser engraved plates ship in 3 to 5 business days, and multicolor plates take 7 to 10. We ship within the US, and shipping is free on orders of $50 and up.
